It’s time for the third Blazblue tournament. This time it’s going to Blazblue: Continuum Shift. Due to the newness of the game, entry to the tournament will be free. It’s €5 to cover the cost of the console rental. It will be held in XGC and registration will begin at 12:00. The tournament will kick off at 13:30. Reeling in the Season

The first Munster Glacial league has finished and it was an exciting conclusion following the months of buildup. D4RK Onion took the grand prize and walked away with €55 and a free pass to get to Inferno this weekend. He didn’t have it all his own way with Robbknoll and Future Guy nipping at his heels.
On the day Doctor DooM took the win with a great performance, coming out without dropping a game. Myself and D4RK Onion drew for second place meaning that Dublin continues it’s dominance over the Limerick players. Perhaps they can redeem themselves at Inferno. (more…)
Inferno 12

It’s time for Inferno 12!
Inferno slinks back to XGC following our more for Inferno 11. The last tournament went well but it’s time for regrouping and organising in order to get us out there for the future.
There is a €5 entry fee, with the tournament costing €10 to enter. So €15 total for one hell of a day. Ramza has a free pass to the tournament which he won in the SFIE writing competition. (more…)
FINAL Munster Super League Session

The final session of the league is on Saturday and it has everything to play for. Coming into this last session we have three leaders out in front in the form of Matt, D4RK Onion and Futureguy. Matt has held that top spot for quite a while now but we don’t know if is going to attend. With only the slimmest of leads this could cost him.
Nipping at their heels are Sairus, Burning Eclipse and Sabre0001. Sairus is not comin but Sabre0001 and Burning Eclipse will be on hand to keep the pressure on the the leaders. The full league breakdown will follow. (more…)
SvB 20-X Travellers Stories

The boys are back in town after their trip over to London for SvB 20-X. They represented well in the games and put the international on notice, that Ireland is moving up. A lot of top 16 finishes really shows that our players can go out there on the big stage and take it to the top players in any game. We gotta keep at it on the home front to keep improving and then send out our strongest players to the big events. There’s still tournaments to go to this year where will the Irish crew strike next?
We got pictures and stories from all the players that went over. Unfortunately there is no x-rated stories. Apparently we sent over a bunch of choir boys. (more…)
Dramatic Review

Last weekend saw Dragonslayers host its SvB 20-X qualifier, Dramatic Battles. The Truth and ????? Mound took the top spots and the seeded spot in Super Street Fighter 4 and BlazBlue : Continuum Shift respectively. Full results breakdown can be found here.
